Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr

 

The parish of Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr lies within Uwchaled (with a population of 189 in 2011, and 388 a century earlier). The village itself is located on the Cerrigydrudion to Rhuthun road, in the south-eastern corner of Conwy county. Llanfihangel lost 7 of its sons and workers during WW1. The parish Roll of Honour also lists another 21 of the area’s men who served abroad during the war but returned alive (if not all fit and well).
