Life / Background:

Arthur was the younger brother of Thomas Owen Evans (also killed in WW1). In 1911 Arthur was still living with his mother and step father, but working as a labourer.
Prior to the Great War, Arthur was a member of the Glan Conwy Miniature Rifle Club which was formed in 1911. He was posted to the Balkans on 25 June 1915 and died just two months later on 17 August 1915.
